1. What OTIDOLO PEKANA is and what it is used for
OTIDOLO PEKANA is a homeopathic preparation.
2. What you need to know before you use OTIDOLO PEKANA
Do not take OTIDOLO PEKANA if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of OTIDOLO
PEKANA (listed in section 6).
Take special care with OTIDOLO PEKANA:
Otidolo contains a small amount of alcohol (ethanol), less than 100 mg per single dose (1–2 drops).
OTIDOLO PEKANA is intended to be used only as ear drops.
Other medicines and OTIDOLO PEKANA
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other
medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask
your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
There are no references to risk when used during pregnancy or breast-feeding. Ask a doctor for advice
before using this medicine.
Driving and using machines
OTIDOLO PEKANA has no effect on the ability to drive or use machines.
3. How to use OTIDOLO PEKANA
Always use OTIDOLO PEKANA exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or
pharmacist has told you.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless prescribed otherwise by your doctor, the regular dose is:
drip 1 drop in the ear several times a day and close the ear canal with a piece of cotton wool.
The duration of treatment depends on the condition. If symptoms do not improve after a week of
treatment, ask a doctor for advice.
If you feel that the effect of OTIDOLO PEKANA is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor
or pharmacist.
Use in children
No data are available on the use in children under the age of 1.
If you take more OTIDOLO PEKANA than you should
Overdose has not been reported.
If you forget to take OTIDOLO PEKANA
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you stop taking OTIDOLO PEKANA
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, OTIDOLO PEKANA can cause side effects, although not everybody gets
them.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects
not listed in this leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via http://www.ravimiamet.ee. By reporting
side effects you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.
5. How to store OTIDOLO PEKANA
Do not store at a temperature higher than 25 ºC.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use OTIDOLO PEKANA after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry
date refers to the last day of that month. The expiry date after the initial opening of the pack is 12
months.
Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist
how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
6. Contents of the pack and other information
What OTIDOLO PEKANA contains
Active substances: 1 gram of solution (1 g – 0.88 mL – 20 drops) contains:
Atropa belladonna spag. Peka Dil D4 0.070 g
Chamomilla recutita Dil D4 0.075 g
Echinacea spag. Peka Dil D5 0.090 g
Phytolacca americana Dil D4 0.065 g
Plantago major spag. Peka Dil D6 0.085 g
Pulsatilla pratensis spag. Peka Dil D4 0.035 g

Excipients: glycerol, ethanol and purified water.
Ethanol content is 9% by volume.

Colourless, clear solution intended for dripping in the ear.
Type 3 brown glass bottle in a cardboard carton with a polypropylene screw cap and dropper.
The pack contains 10 mL of solution.
A cardboard carton with a glass bottle containing 10 mL of solution.
